He is a Registered Quality Assurance Professional in Good Clinical Practice (RQAP-GCP) and a Certified Professional with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP-CP). Scott plays a key role in shaping best practices in clinical trial conduct, compliance strategy, and regulatory oversight. As a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), he advises on the UK Data Protection Act, EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), data governance, and regulatory reporting. In collaboration with legal experts, he oversees Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and supports lawful data processing in highly regulated research environments, navigating complex issues involving confidentiality, privacy rights, and cross-border data transfers.
Collaborative by nature, Scott works closely with global stakeholders—including sponsors, investigators, and regulatory authorities—to foster shared accountability, ethical conduct, and effective communication in the pursuit of public trust and scientific progress.
