Meet the host.

Scott McCulloch holds a Master of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London and is currently reading for a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). He brings over a decade of experience in the Life Sciences industry and is a leader in regulatory, data protection, and privacy compliance, with a focus on drug development across the UK, EU, US, and other global jurisdictions.

Throughout his career, Scott has been responsible for ensuring that clinical trials are designed and conducted in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. His work has included shaping compliance strategy, managing regulatory risk, and overseeing adherence to standards such as the UK Clinical Trials Regulations, EU Clinical Trials Regulation 536/2014, FDA 21 CFR, and global data protection laws, including the GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, and HIPAA.

Scott has also contributed to in-house legal operations through the development, review, and execution of clinical trial contracts, service agreements, confidentiality terms, informed consent forms, and data protection documentation. Over the years, Scott has collaborated with some of the world’s leading law firms to ensure strategic alignment on regulatory and data protection matters across diverse legal systems.
